What you'll do
Develop and maintain tools to analyze delivery, capacity, and cost problems,: informing decisions for planning, supply chain, test, and operations, using SQL, Python, and Excel
Define and develop department-level metrics that quantify the health of our: operation and influence change to positively impact reliability, cost, and agility
Design and maintain data visualizations using Grafana and Power BI software tools
Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from leadership to drive headcount,: labor allocation, cost-saving, and project management decisions
Lead process improvement initiatives to minimize waste, increase cost: savings, improve safety, increase agility, and eliminate production hurdles
Drive alignment with supply chain, test, launch, and fabrications teams at: other SpaceX sites across the country to reduce duplicated work
What they're looking for
- Flexibly support planners during times of increased part/process demand
- Facilitate knowledge transfer when new software functionality is rolled out: or fabrication/production best practices are proven
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- + years of experience in a production, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain role
