What you'll do
Provide engineering expertise in design, system analysis, and testing of high: voltage systems, including lithium-ion batteries, solid state load switches, DC-DC power converters, and power distribution optimization
Work on electrical power system and sub-system level design trades and develop requirements
Define and perform electrical power system verification testing and analysis
Work with multidisciplinary teams of design, test, and production engineers: to create new power electronics hardware
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
+ years of experience with high voltage systems, lithium-ion batteries, solid: state load switches, DC-DC power converters, or power distribution (personal projects, research, internships, and extracurricular academic projects qualify)
What they're looking for
- Previous experience with DC-DC power converters, electric motors, lithium-ion: batteries, or solid state load switches
- Experience with electric drivetrains in aircraft flight control surfaces,: electric vehicle traction systems, or similar applications
- Experience in modeling, simulation, and testing of electrical power systems
- Understanding of design for fault tolerance and reliability
