What you'll do
Strategic Leadership: Technically scope and lead the delivery of multi-quarter, high-visibility, executive-sponsored projects across Experience & Rewards system and processes (e.g., compensation, benefits, equity, and total rewards platforms).
Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the primary conduit between business partners and technical delivery teams, owning and writing detailed functional requirements, business processes, and use cases.
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the functional specialist and delivery lead for the Experience & Rewards pod, specializing in Core HCM, compensation, rewards, and benefits technology integrations and workflows.
Backlog & Execution Management: Drive delivery against a prioritized backlog for aligned stakeholder groups, ensuring successful project execution from start to finish.
Agile & Scrum Execution: Operate actively in a Scrum framework—breaking down complex epics and business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable technical tasks while participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives with our global team.
Impediment Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve project-level risks and requirement trade-offs with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
What they're looking for
- Mentorship & Influence: Guide project teams through uncertainty, facilitate scoping workshops, and provide mentorship to junior colleagues.
- + years of experience on the Workday platform in a delivery role with a: Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree.
- Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, with deep functional knowledge of: Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and Performance/Rewards modules.
- Proven track record as a Delivery Lead managing complex, multi-system initiatives.
