What you'll do
Work with a cross-functional team to build features for the Databricks platform
Manage your project end-to-end, from discovery and ideation through final: design prototype for engineering to implement from
Work with engineers and designers to ship features on the Databricks platform
Conduct research with customers to better understand their needs and improve your design
You will graduate in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a bachelors or masters: degree in HCI or related design practice
You have the demonstrated ability to leverage AI tooling in your design process without sacrificing craft.
What they're looking for
- You use good judgement in visual hierarchy, layout, and information architecture to inform your design work.
- You have some first hand experience with SQL and/or Python
- You're hands-on and learn by doing: happy to build, test, and iterate your way to an answer
- You use analytical skills to make data-driven decisions (e.g. analyzing: product usage, conducting user experience research)
