The opportunity
AI has made it possible to build almost anything. The constraint on great software is no longer engineering capacity, it's judgment about what's actually worth building.
What you'll do
Use insight from customer conversations and Mixpanel's own product data to: shape strategy and direction for your product area
Align engineering and design teams on the right problems with clear, written communication
Work closely with engineering and design to experiment with and ship new capabilities
Tell a clear story about what you've shipped: to internal and external audiences - that leads with the customer problem, articulates why it matters, and uses customer stories to make the value tangible
Prioritize ruthlessly across a long list of possible bets, balancing customer: impact, business value, and team capacity
Define and track the metrics that tell you whether what you shipped actually: worked, and course-correct when it didn't
