What you'll do

  • Release work orders to the floor within authorized limits, confirming: material, tooling, certified labor, released router revision, and quality hold points.

  • Identify and clear shortages, roadblocks, and resource conflicts.

  • Track work in process status and location.

  • Chase nonconformances to the disposition decision point and escalate for signature.

  • Support process proving and capture what the documented process does not reflect.

What they're looking for

  • Direct experience in maritime, naval, or aerospace defense, with knowledge of NAVSEA or MIL-SPEC standards.
  • Experience with MES and ERP systems for production and material planning: working with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), or Oracle or equivalents.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Technical foundation in mechanical assembly, electrical integration, heavy: metal or composite fabrication, or shipbuilding or large vehicle production.
