What you'll do
Prepare SRM cases for casting operations.
Perform nozzle and igniter assembly operations.
Install igniter and/or nozzle assemblies onto multiple different types of solid rocket motors.
Work with design and manufacturing engineering, quality, and safety: departments on process refinement and continuous improvement activities.
Data collection and data entry.
Clean and reset multiple types of tooling.
What they're looking for
- Ensure the working environment is kept clean and organized.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- + years of experience building solid rocket motors or manufacturing industry: experience. Work on a mechanical degree or certification also contributes to our assessment of this requirement
- Experience working in a regulated environment (AS9100, ISO, etc) and: understand the importance of your personal warranty when performing an operation “buy-off.”
