What you'll do

  • Fabricate electromechanical and harnessing hardware for flight using: precision assembly, laser welding, wire bonding, epoxy bonding, soldering, and other methods.

  • Self-monitor work progress against area benchmarks, and achieve on-time delivery of all work.

  • Record work performed using the shop floor management system (ERP)

  • Perform flight hardware acceptance (ATP) testing and document results in a: clear, precise, and complete manner (includes thermal cycling, high pressure proof, hi-pot, electronic functional testing, and more)

  • Provide feedback to assist NPI (new production/processes introduction)

  • Assist with efficiency, quality, and safety projects within area

What they're looking for

  • Execute daily precision manufacturing tasks, Assemble and fit-up: subassemblies for fluid systems, including precision alignment, braze joints, fastener torquing, soldering, populating avionics connector pin-out with exact wire routing and crimping, conducting proof pressure testing on assemblies, and hi-pot electrical testing for insulation integrity
  • Work with engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues and drive: continuous improvements projects, enabling high-volume production
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
