What you'll do
Own the monthly close for the FCM and Broker-Dealer entities, including: journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and quarterly and annual reporting.
Prepare accurate and timely regulatory reporting for the CFTC, NFA, and other: applicable regulators, monitoring capital and liquidity requirements daily.
Lead coordination of internal and external audits, driving cross-functional: stakeholder alignment and successful audit outcomes.
Design, execute, and continuously improve internal controls over accounting,: regulatory reporting, and compliance processes.
Partner with cross-functional teams on new product launches and business: initiatives, ensuring accounting and regulatory readiness from inception.
Identify and implement opportunities to automate and scale accounting: operations through technology and process improvement.
What they're looking for
- –7 years of experience in public accounting, industry accounting, or a combination of both.
- Active CPA license and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Direct experience preferred with regulatory reporting and compliance in: environments governed by FINRA, SEC, CFTC, or NFA requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business activity into sound: accounting processes and communicate technical issues clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership.
