Do discovery, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a thriving environment.
Manage individual project priorities and deliverables whilst working in a: team who enjoy knowledge sharing sessions.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology.
Propose new product ideas, build tech tools or try out new architectural: approaches during our Get Stuff Done Days (GSDD).
Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in: large-scale production systems (note: experience of Kotlin would be a plus).
In-depth understanding of microservice architecture.
What they're looking for
- Knowledge of both relational (preferably Postgres) and non-relational databases.
- Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS.
- You know your way around using AI tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot) to: accelerate development without sacrificing quality.
- Product-centric mindset, first you ask "why", then "what" and only then think of "how".
