What you'll do
Discovery and scoping: Translate ambiguous asks from business stakeholders into well-defined requirements that Business Systems Engineers can build against. Many stakeholders don't know what they want or the cross-functional impact of what they're asking for — you surface both before engineering begins.
Cross-functional visibility: Identify dependencies, downstream impacts, and integration considerations that requesting teams miss.
Proactive opportunity identification: Develop deep domain knowledge to identify automation and AI opportunities before they become inbound requests, shifting the team from reactive intake to strategic partnership.
Stakeholder relationship ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for your domain, reducing ad hoc consultations that currently land on the team lead and senior ICs.
Systems and governance: Review system configuration, data integrity, and vendor fit within your domain and make recommendations to stakeholders and BSEs; maintain clear documentation (process diagrams, system flows, user guides); ensure compliance with security and privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
Prior experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role, ideally: within a high-tech or SaaS environment

- Experience owning a business domain end-to-end; comfortable operating like an internal product manager
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to: explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage relationships with senior leadership
- Comfortable using AI/agentic tools for data aggregation and: context-gathering, while knowing where human judgment is still required
- Experience in managing projects, particularly those involving multiple stakeholders and complex integrations
