The opportunity

Anduril’s Electronic Warfare (EW) team is seeking experienced generalist embedded software engineers to build out the software ecosystem supporting a next-generation electronic warfare platform. As an Embedded software engineer, you’ll develop high-performance implementations of…

What you'll do

  • Own component qualification for new parts and new sources across electrical: and mechanical commodities, including semiconductors, RF components, passives, connectors, PCB/PCBA, switches, fasteners and hardware, seals, adhesives and other materials.

  • Define and execute qualification plans necessary to ensure compatibility and: compliance for production and deployed EW systems.

  • Proactively identify critical single-source components across active EW: designs and drive second-source qualification before it becomes urgent, owning the technical trade, the test plan, and the qualification process.

  • Perform form-fit-function analysis on candidate alternates and present: findings to change control board for approval and implementation.

  • Embed with EW design engineers from architecture through NPI, influencing: component selection while designs are still open, and reviewing schematics and BOMs for parts that carry avoidable supply or reliability risk.

  • Serve as the standing component resource for the design team, driving: component commonality and reuse across EW programs and product configurations, reducing the number of unique parts engineering has to sustain.
