What you'll do
Lead and scale a broad Financial Operations organization spanning: Source-to-Pay, Global Payroll, Equity Administration, and Sales Commissions
Drive strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement governance: across major spend categories, with full ownership of the P2P technology stack
Oversee accurate and compliant global payroll operations across all: jurisdictions, partnering closely with Human Resources, Treasury and Accounting
Own all equity plan administration and regulatory compliance, serving as the company's internal expert
Oversee sales incentive compensation design, calculation, and administration: in partnership with Sales Operations
Serve as a key financial operations partner to executive leadership, support: SEC disclosures, board reporting, and financial strategy across all functional areas

- Maintain a strong SOX control environment and serve as the primary audit: liaison across Financial Operations processes
- Champion AI-driven automation and process transformation while developing: high-performing teams and partnering broadly across Finance, Legal, People, IT, and Sales
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on: Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
