The opportunity
ChargePoint is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our Document Control Specialist (DCS) team. As a member of our DCS team, you will be a driving force in the efficient tracking and management of engineering changes.
What you'll do
Analyze and manage complex product structures, assemblies, and PCBAs.
Partner with mechanical and electrical engineering, program management, and: operations to align on and support program schedules.
Execute deliverables on time to ensure product launches and engineering changes hit target deadlines.
Drive an efficient and highly accurate part release and documentation process.
Create and maintain product Bill of Materials (BOM) configurations and product structures.
Process, manage, and execute Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- years of experience in PLM, Document Control, Change Management, or Configuration Management.
- Expert knowledge of Arena PLM software.
- Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management fundamentals, including: part number schemes, release processes, revision control, BOM management, and supplier collaboration.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
