What you'll do

• Triage product failures from production and the field, prioritizing by severity and population impact

• Drive root cause investigations down to the electrical component and PCB: fabrication level as needed, landing corrective actions as process or design updates

• Collect, manage, and analyze failure and field data to quantify population-level impact and trends

• Work cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, and Production Operations to keep builds on plan

• Surface and escalate issues that threaten the build schedule, and drive them to resolution

• Implement design and process changes that improve yield, reliability, and manufacturability

What they're looking for

• Evaluate supplier product change notifications (PCNs) and assess their impact: to the production environment, partnering with the design team to update the design as needed
• Support production test, debug, and failure analysis at the board and system level
• Track and report on sustainment metrics, corrective action status, and open production issues
• Work in a fast-paced environment, having to juggle multiple concurrent projects and customers
