The opportunity
The Battlespace Awareness (BA) team develops state-of-the-art radar systems, deployed to tackle the most significant security challenges of America and its allies. Working across hardware, software, and firmware; in both the RF and digital domains; the team delivers radar…
What you'll do
Design, develop, and deploy embedded software across the full stack: from application-level code on embedded processor cores down to drivers and low-level mechanisms controlling hardware
Develop and maintain embedded Linux software for radar seeker systems using modern C++ and/or Rust
Write device drivers and firmware that interface with hardware over SPI, I2C,: UART, and other low-level buses for data transfer and peripheral control
Perform hardware-software integration, board bring-up, and debugging using: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and RF/digital test equipment
Spend significant time on-site at Anduril facilities (weeks at a time): supporting integration, field testing, and real-world validation of products
Collaborate closely with electrical, RF, firmware, and systems engineers to deliver fully functional products
What they're looking for
- Experience with radar systems, signal processing, or RF sensing applications
- Background in seeker development, missile/munitions systems, or other tactical defense products
- Experience with RF test equipment such as VNAs, signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
- Familiarity with bootloaders, Board Support Packages (BSP), and RTOS environments
- Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, JESD204)
- Comfort with typical C++ tooling (CMake, GDB, Valgrind, etc.) and CI/CD workflows
- Experience with Python for test automation and scripting
- Familiarity with reproducible build systems such as Nix/NixOS
