The opportunity

The Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (ARMS) team is on a mission to build next generation solid rocket motors for a safer, more connected world. To achieve our vision of becoming a large-volume provider of tactical rocket motors, we will develop differentiated products and services…

What you'll do

  • Clear-To-Build Planning: Evaluate Engineering and Manufacturing Bills of Material (BOMs), and program demand for final assemblies to generate accurate, long-range material signals via Purchase Requisitions to align with known program demand and published production schedules. Track PO commitments to assess readiness for manufacturing to execute scheduled work.

  • Demand & Supply Alignment: Partner with Engineering, Configuration Managers, Program Managers, Procurement, and Production Schedulers to ensure all engineering activity and procurement effort completion supports demand and production schedule timelines

  • Shortage Mitigation & Inventory Strategy: Proactively identify material constraints, manage critical shortage escalation processes, and establish optimized inventory levels (safety stock, min/max) to ensure uninterrupted production.

  • KPI & Material Governance: Establish, monitor, and drive continuous improvement on key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on material availability, schedule attainment, inventory accuracy, and on time delivery(OTD).

  • Material Orchestration: Coordinate closely with the Production Scheduler and Warehouse to assist precise product prestaging, picking, and kitting requirements.

  • Work Order Lifecycle Management: Own the generation, scheduling, and management of manufacturing work orders. Manage aging work orders and dynamically adjust schedule priorities based on real-time material availability, capacity and production changes.

What they're looking for

  • Traceability & Compliance: Maintain robust serialized parts and material traceability using system tools and processes within the ERP to meet rigorous Quality Management System (QMS), defense, and HazMat standards.
  • MRP: Act as the owner of material planning logic in MRP: ensure all lead times, reorder points, and master data parameters under the items master configuration and planning applications are regularly evaluated for accuracy.
  • Planning Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Production to continuously refine ERP workflows, ensuring the system is highly effective for MRP.
  • SME Support & Training: Troubleshoot MRP-related issues for end-users, design systemic solutions, and provide training to help build Planning Department capability.
