What you'll do
Design, build, and evolve the platforms and services that power localization,: translation workflows, and global content delivery across Spotify
Develop high-quality frontend and backend solutions that enable product teams to ship globally from day one
Partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across: missions to ensure internationalisation is embedded early in the development lifecycle
Improve developer experience by creating intuitive tooling, documentation, and self-serve frameworks
Drive technical direction for complex cross-platform initiatives that impact millions of users worldwide
Identify performance, scalability, and reliability improvements in systems supporting global expansion
What they're looking for
- You have 5+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade software as a fullstack engineer
- You are experienced with modern frontend frameworks (such as React) and: backend development (such as Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, or similar technologies)
- You have a deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and scalable service architecture
- You know how to design systems with global scale, localization, and performance in mind
- You care about developer experience and building tools that empower other engineers
- You have worked in cross-functional environments and communicate complex ideas clearly
- You demonstrate strong technical judgment and take ownership of outcomes
- You care about building inclusive products that serve users across languages, regions, and cultures
