What you'll do
Manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP,: internal policies, SOX controls, and external audits.
Integrate general ledger accounting operations to drive alignment with global: processes across the organisation.
Share ownership of the full-cycle general ledger financial close process,: reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure complete and accurate financials.
Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to streamline accounting: operations and refine monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
Act as a key decision-maker in the continuous development of accounting: policies, standard operating procedures, and monthly variance analysis in partnership with FP&A and Financial Reporting.
Extensive public company accounting experience within a relevant industry,: alongside proven experience managing and developing staff.
What they're looking for
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB standards, and SOX internal controls.
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle financial close processes and: maintaining robust accounting operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACA/ACCACPA qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working with financial systems such as NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite.
