Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.

What you'll do

  • Support the administration of the Company’s employment-based immigration: program, including coordination of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters and related immigration processes.

  • Serve as a key point of contact between external immigration counsel and: internal stakeholders, including sponsored employees, managers, the People Team, and the Legal Team.

  • Respond to routine immigration inquiries and escalate complex or higher-risk: matters to the Associate General Counsel or external counsel as appropriate.

  • Coordinate immigration case initiation, document collection, job-duty: confirmations, LCA postings, and other Company-side requirements needed to support immigration filings.

  • Support pre-hire immigration sponsorship assessments and internal approval: processes for candidate sponsorship, employee sponsorship, extensions, H-1B lottery participation, PERM initiation, role changes, travel, and other immigration-impacting events.

  • Develop, update, and maintain immigration-related procedures, SOPs,: templates, checklists, FAQs, employee communications, and manager-facing resources.

  • Support immigration program governance, including tracking key deadlines,: identifying compliance risks, monitoring outside counsel spend, and helping ensure consistent application of Company sponsorship procedures.
  • Keep up to date on changing immigration laws that impact current and future employees of Redwood.
  • Support other Legal Team projects as assigned.
