The opportunity
As part of the Databricks Payroll team, you will join a dynamic global organisation that is helping our customers solve some of their toughest problems. You will also ensure our employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with all requirements—allowing them to focus on doing their best work.
What you'll do
Payroll processing support: Partner with the Payroll Analyst team in India to prepare, validate, and reconcile payroll data for the countries specified above or as per org design, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Data validation & audits: Perform pre- and post-processing checks to identify and resolve discrepancies before payroll is finalized.
Vendor collaboration: Work closely with payroll vendors to troubleshoot issues, resolve variances, and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Compliance adherence: Ensure payroll operations follow internal controls, statutory regulations, and company policies for each country.
Employee case resolution: Respond to and resolve payroll inquiries through the case management tool, providing accurate and timely support.
Process improvement: Identify and recommend scalable solutions to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
What they're looking for
- Documentation maintenance: Develop and update payroll process documentation to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Project participation: Contribute to payroll-related projects, system enhancements, and testing activities in the ASIA region.
- Regional payroll expertise: 5-7 years of payroll processing experience in Asia region.
- Global Team Environment: experience working for a multinational and high-growth company.
