What you'll do
Own the design process end-to-end for your product area, identifying: opportunities to improve user experience and drive product impact
Design intuitive, user-friendly experiences that balance technical complexity: with accessibility and ease of use
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders: throughout the product development lifecycle
Conduct user research to understand needs, validate design decisions, and: translate insights into actionable design improvements
Maintain a high craft and quality bar, ensuring every detail contributes to a cohesive and polished experience
Contribute to design systems and patterns that scale across the North platform
What they're looking for
- Partner with engineering to ensure designs are implemented with fidelity and: make pragmatic tradeoffs when needed
- Product Design Experience: You have 4+ years experience designing digital products with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your process, systems thinking, and measurable impact on user outcomes.
- AI and Agentic Fluency: You have a strong understanding of AI concepts and agentic systems, including how models reason, use tools, and orchestrate multi-step workflows. You stay current on AI trends and can design interactions that make complex agentic behaviours understandable and controllable for users.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: You have a collaborative approach to product development, working closely with Product Managers to identify opportunities, with Engineers to navigate technical constraints and review implementations, and with stakeholders across the organization to align on solutions.
