The opportunity

Datadog is looking for a Senior PR Manager (EMEA) to lead our communications programme across EMEA during a fixed-term maternity cover.

What you'll do

  • Own and execute Datadog’s EMEA communications strategy, increasing: high-quality media visibility and building awareness of Datadog across observability, security and AI

  • Lead regional communications for global product launches, company: announcements and research, developing relevant local angles and coordinating commentary from EMEA spokespeople

  • Build sustained regional awareness through proactive storytelling, timely: commentary and thought leadership, while developing trusted relationships with technology, business and national media

  • Develop the external profiles of EMEA leaders and experts through distinctive: points of view, contributed content, media opportunities and effective spokesperson preparation

  • Create communications plans for regional events, market expansion news and: business milestones, while coordinating responses to urgent media enquiries and emerging reputational issues with global Communications

  • Lead PR agencies across priority markets and partner with regional Marketing,: Sales and leadership teams to set priorities, evaluate programme impact and bring EMEA insights into global communications planning

What they're looking for

  • Measure and communicate programme impact through coverage quality, Tier 1: visibility, message pull-through and other relevant performance indicators
  • Experienced in PR or corporate communications, with 6+ years of experience: and exposure to B2B technology, enterprise software or cybersecurity environments
  • Experienced in leading communications programmes across multiple EMEA: markets, either in-house, at an agency or through a combination of both
  • Skilled in media relations and able to translate complex technology and: business topics into clear, locally relevant stories for UK and European audiences
