Senior Radar Engineer, Air DefenseActive$194K
The opportunity
Anduril’s Air Defense team builds autonomous robots that find other robots and knock them out of the sky. This team is the nexus of premier Anduril-built products such as Roadrunner, Sentry, Anvil, Pulsar, and Wisp integrated into a software-enabled Air Defense family of systems tailored to the modern battle-space.
What you'll do
Architect and implement RF sensing technologies for air defense radar systems and multi-domain platforms
Conduct rigorous system-of-systems analysis to decompose operational: requirements into radar subsystem specifications, link budgets, and performance trades
Work with our internal and external radars to validate advanced radar: techniques, waveforms, signal processing algorithms, and detection/tracking technologies against evolving UAS threats
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architectures and: concepts of operations for networked sensor and effector engagements
Create and drive consensus on internal technical roadmaps for counter-UAS radar capabilities
Engage directly with DoD customers to translate operational needs into technical requirements
What they're looking for
- Hands-on experience developing RF sensing systems for detection and tracking: of small, low-observable, low-altitude targets
- Proficiency in C++ for real-time embedded systems or signal processing pipelines
- Understanding of radar antenna development, technology, and integration
- Prior experience supporting DoD or IC programs
