ETA teams adopt reusable GitLab CI/CD or comparable CI/CD patterns for Salesforce, Zuora, and other enterprise platforms. Release quality improves through automated validation, testing, policy checks, and post-deployment verification.
What you'll do
Design, build, and maintain GitLab CI/CD or comparable CI/CD pipelines for: enterprise applications, including validation, testing, packaging, deployment, promotion, rollback, and post-release verification.
Develop reusable automation using scripting languages such as Python to: reduce manual release activities and improve repeatability.
Use approved AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude or similar tools: every day to accelerate pipeline development, scripting, test creation, troubleshooting, documentation, release analysis, and operational automation.
Define and implement CI/CD patterns for platforms such as Salesforce, Zuora, and other Business Systems.
Establish environment and promotion strategies across development, test,: staging, and production, including configuration management and deployment sequencing.
Implement quality gates, automated checks, approvals, audit trails, and: policy controls appropriate for enterprise application releases.
What they're looking for
- Partner with application owners and development teams to define branching,: versioning, release cadence, and rollback standards.
- Improve release observability through deployment dashboards, pipeline: metrics, change records, notifications, and operational reporting.
- Investigate failed deployments and release issues, lead root-cause analysis,: and implement durable corrective actions.
- Contribute to release calendars, change planning, blackout-period: coordination, and risk-based release decision-making.
