What you'll do
Work with Technical Accounting to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance: with ASC 606 for new and modified customer contracts.
Administer and account for various contract types, with a primary focus on: Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time & Materials (T&M), Cost Reimbursed (CR) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) government contracts.
Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on revenue recognition: matters, including contract review, revenue forecasting, and deal structuring. This role requires collaboration with Program Managers, Finance Program Analysts, and various other departments.
Execute revenue close procedures efficiently and accurately within tight: monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines.
Monitor contract funding, limits, modifications, closeouts, and progress to: completion, to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
