What you'll do
Design, build, and operate foundational data services, including storage: (cloud warehouse, data lake), orchestration (Airflow), batch processing (Spark, SQL), and streaming (Kafka).
Build and maintain data integration and processing SDKs used by internal services and product teams.
Design self-service tools so users can manage and troubleshoot their own data pipelines.
Build services for data security, observability, quality, cataloging, and lineage.
Turn requests from analysts, ML, and security teams into reusable, scalable patterns.
+ years of experience in software engineering, including senior-level ownership.
What they're looking for
- Strong Python, Go, or Java backend development skills.
- Hands-on experience with data systems or data pipelines.
- Familiarity with design patterns such as scale-out, caching, key/value, and columnar storage.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Airflow for operational data analysis.
