What you'll do
Design, build, and operate core developer infrastructure services across CI,: build systems, deployment orchestration, and test infrastructure.
Improve key engineering productivity metrics, including build and CI time,: deploy speed and safety, and test feedback quality.
Own services end to end, including architecture, observability, SLOs, and on-call operations.
Partner with engineering teams across Coinbase to understand pain points and: turn them into platform improvements.
Lead technical design for cross-cutting projects and drive them through production.
Mentor engineers and help shape the technical direction of the platform.
What they're looking for
- + years building and operating production software, with strong distributed: systems fundamentals and proficiency in Go or a similar language.
- Track record of shipping high-impact backend or platform systems with: ownership from design through production.
- Strong operational instincts with a focus on reliability, security, and observability.
- Clear communication and the ability to drive projects independently while collaborating across teams.
