Senior Software Engineer, Vehicle Software, V&VActive$253K

Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) is responsible for autonomous robotics systems like the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda family of advanced effects. The AD&S Vehicle Software team is responsible for the software running on these systems.

What you'll do

• Lead the definition, design, and execution of product verification and: validation activities throughout the product development life cycle

• Implement and automate software verification tests by defining and delivering: test cases written against software requirements

• Analyze and simulate requirements per customer specifications or developed internal product requirements

• Review use cases, requirements, and specifications for products to ensure: that requirements and specifications can be verified and validated

• The review also includes risk mitigations, usability, and regulatory requirements

• Execute complex testing, perform in-depth statistical analysis, and interpret results independently

What they're looking for

• Experience standing up automated hardware-in-the-loop testing infrastructure
• Functional knowledge of software development, verification, and validation: requirements for DO-178 and MIL-HDBK-516C
• Experience developing testable requirements and understanding of DO-178 and: MIL-HDBK-516C verification objectives
