What you'll do

  • Lead manufacturing-readiness assessments from sourcing and product concept: through production launch, ensuring suppliers have the processes, equipment, capacity, controls, and technical capability required to meet program objectives

  • Drive the development, qualification, and improvement of manufacturing: processes for battery cells, modules, packs, or related high-voltage components, with a focus on scalability, repeatability, quality, and throughput

  • Lead supplier APQP and PPAP activities, including the review and approval of: Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, Control Plans, Measurement System Analyses, capability studies, and production validation evidence

  • Own supplier industrialization deliverables during prototype builds,: production trials, qualification events, ramp-up, and mass-production launch, resolving issues that could affect product quality or delivery

  • Partner with Battery Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Supply: Chain, Design Engineering, and Program Management to align product requirements, supplier capabilities, and launch priorities

  • Identify supplier manufacturing and quality risks early, establish: data-driven mitigation plans, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and verified before key program and production milestones

What they're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical: Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • A minimum of four years of experience in automotive manufacturing, supplier: quality, supplier industrialization, product quality, or manufacturing engineering
  • Hands-on experience supporting battery cell, module, or pack development from: product concept through production launch
  • Experience leading or supporting APQP, PPAP, supplier process audits,: production-readiness assessments, or manufacturing qualification activities
