What you'll do

• Partner with design and manufacturing engineers to accelerate product development via activities such as:

• build bottom-up cost models, using supplier data and manufacturing insight to: benchmark pricing and identify cost drivers

• rapidly align on build requirements, constraints, and feasibility against schedule

• Perform impact assessment on build schedule when change reviews are proposed and implemented

• Own and maintain the line of balance (LOB) for assigned programs, ensuring: material availability is synchronised to the master build schedule. You'll be the connective tissue between procurement, production, and engineering — translating build requirements into actionable supply plans and driving resolution when gaps threaten schedule

• Drive and support clear-to-build (CTB) reviews ahead of each build phase,: confirming all materials, long-lead items, and supplier deliverables are on hand or on track

What they're looking for

• Collaborate with procurement to expedite, re-sequence, or source alternatives: when supply risks emerge, escalating early with data-backed recommendations
• Track and report schedule adherence metrics (OTD, CTB pass rate, LOB health): and drive root cause analysis on misses.
• Maintain MRP/ERP system accuracy: planned orders, lead times, safety stock parameters, and demand signals aligned to current program baselines.
• Support all cost engineering activities to converge the bottoms-up cost curve: to product cost, maximizing the total cost of ownership (TCO) across the product lifecycle
