The opportunity
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus six (6) years of software development experience.
What you'll do
Develop scalable computer systems that manage a large volume of information: and use them to fulfill business goals for the company and its partners.
Improve backend scalability and performance by integrating lightweight: backend framework, overhauling APIs and optimizing database systems.
Design and build tools that ingest and process signals from various sources: to make them more accessible for the company’s partner teams.
Design and implement logging and data visualization system for backend APIs.
Diagnose and resolve software issues reported from production, automated testing, QA testing and customers.
Design and implement scalable and reliable automated testing suites to reduce manual Quality Assurance tasks.
What they're looking for
- Building software solutions in Java, C++, Python, or Ruby;
- Designing, building and maintaining scalable systems;
- Translating business needs into software requirements and designs;
- Debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack;
- Distributed systems; and
- Design and implementation of scalable high-performance RESTful microservices.
