What you'll do

  • Design and implement scalable and robust application networking features to: enhance performance. Integrate security controls into networking solutions, ensuring safe interactions. Refactor existing code to improve functionality and maintainability while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity for you and your team.

  • Analyze performance metrics to pinpoint bottlenecks in application: networking. Conduct load testing to assess scalability of networking features and optimize code to enhance response times and resource efficiency. Implement performance monitoring tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet their application networking needs.

  • Identify and tackle application networking issues to enhance performance.: Conduct root cause analysis for network-related incidents and document the troubleshooting processes for future reference. Develop tools aimed at tracing and fixing errors associated with application networking.

  • Collaborate with Engineering teams across Elastic to discuss and fulfill: their Application Networking requirements.

  • Hands-on experience developing software in Golang with an emphasis on networking components that can scale.

  • Experience working with Kubernetes (Cilium, external-dns, Envoy Gateway & Crossplane) are also great
