What you'll do
Contribute to the technical direction of the team and provide input on the: engineering roadmap for the Platform's streaming capabilities.
Design and implement high-impact systems, owning features end-to-end from design through delivery.
Participate in architectural discussions that address technical challenges and improve platform scalability.
Collaborate effectively within and across teams on cross-functional projects for successful delivery.
Improve the operational posture of our systems by applying best practices in: observability, reliability, and scalability, and sharing that knowledge with teammates.
+ years of full-time, software development experience in a fast-paced, agile environment
What they're looking for
- Experience working with Golang or Java is preferred
- Hands-on experience developing and tuning highly-scalable, event-driven systems
- Solid understanding of database fundamentals and experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka
- A passion and interest to work on systems that are highly reliable, maintainable, scalable and secure.
