What you'll do
Design, implement, and maintain new SDK features, ensuring seamless: integration with the broader Pendo mobile product across iOS and Android.
Dive deep into OS internals to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and: ensure the SDK functions correctly across all supported devices and OS versions.
Contribute to SDK development across mobile frameworks: Flutter, React Native, MAUI, and CMP — ensuring compatibility and performance in each environment.
Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code) as a core part of your daily: workflow; apply strong engineering judgment and review rigor to AI-generated code before it ships, holding it to the same bar as hand-written code.
Write clean, efficient, maintainable code with a strong focus on quality —: developing unit tests, implementing automated testing, and participating in code reviews.
Provide technical support to international customers: troubleshoot issues, guide them through solutions, and lead live conversations with adequate English proficiency.
What they're looking for
- Partner closely with product managers, designers, customer-facing teams, and: other engineers to align on goals and deliver the best possible mobile experience.
- –4+ years of experience in iOS or Android app development and/or mobile SDK: development, including 2+ years of hands-on experience with Objective-C or Kotlin.
- Deep understanding of either the iOS or Android platform: performance optimization, memory management, and behavior across OS versions and device types.
- A genuine passion for mobile development and the flexibility to work across: different frameworks and environments as the product evolves.
