Software Engineer, New Grad (2027)Active$145K–$150K

The opportunity

New grads at Sentry write real code on real projects that ship to production. Engineers here get to solve a genuine range of technical problems: building fast, delightful UIs for navigating millions of errors and traces, and architecting solutions that ingest, store, and index terabytes of data every single day.

What you'll do

  • Work across Product or Infrastructure Engineering, depending on team match

  • Build with the stack your team uses: TypeScript, React, Python, and Django on the product side; Python, Rust, Kafka, ClickHouse, and Kubernetes on the infra side

  • Own the full software development lifecycle, design, development, testing, and operating in production

  • Communicate effectively with engineers on your team, engineers on other: teams, and stakeholders like product managers

  • Act on feedback, coaching, and mentorship from your manager and teammates

  • Want to actively use the product you're building (we dogfood Sentry every day)

What they're looking for

  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or similar degree program)
  • At least 1 previous internship or equivalent practical experience
  • Implementation skills with one or more general-purpose programming languages,: e.g. Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.
  • Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design principles
  • Experience working with version control and unit testing
