What you'll do
Negotiate contracts, place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices: related to software, services, and other indirect categories
Manage preferred supplier network to support Indirect Starlink procurement
Communicate clearly and rapidly to influence decisions of vendors and senior leadership
Responsible for authoring of contract documents with the legal department
Interpret engineering drawings and BOMs
Create sourcing strategies for all soft services, software, and legal categories
What they're looking for
- Develop a preferred supplier network and leverage it to minimize cost/maximize efficacy
- Solve complex, open-ended problems with an emphasis on speed and efficiency
- Perform reviews of vendor capabilities
- Management of contracts ensuring performance of the supplier meets contract obligations
