What you'll do

  • Lead supplier readiness for electronics components and assemblies from: sourcing through launch and stable production.

  • Drive APQP, LQP/PPAP, risk assessments, process controls, inspections,: testing, capacity readiness, safe launch, and run-at-rate activities.

  • Partner with Engineering, GSM, Program Management, Manufacturing, Quality,: Logistics, and suppliers to resolve launch and production issues.

  • Review supplier process flows, PFMEAs, control plans, test strategies,: capability data, validation plans, and launch readiness deliverables.

  • Assess supplier manufacturing systems, quality controls, traceability, test: coverage, sub-supplier management, capacity, and change control.

  • Lead supplier audits, line walks, issue containment, root cause analysis,: corrective actions, and recovery plans.

What they're looking for

  • Communicate supplier readiness, launch risks, recovery plans, owners, timing, and decisions to leadership.
  • Mentor engineers and help standardize electronics supplier industrialization best practices.
  • Travel up to 20–30% for supplier and launch support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering,: Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field; master’s degree preferred.
