What you'll do
Lead the industrialization strategy and manufacturing readiness of wiring: harness suppliers across multiple vehicle programs, ensuring successful launches and operational excellence.
Drive supplier capability development through APQP, PPAP, process audits,: risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Influence product design, sourcing decisions, and manufacturing strategies by: partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality organizations.
Serve as the technical authority for supplier manufacturing, leading critical: escalations, mentoring engineering teams, and establishing best practices across the supplier network.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,: Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
+ years of experience in automotive engineering, manufacturing, supplier: quality, supplier industrialization, or product launch environments.
What they're looking for
- + years of direct experience industrializing wiring harnesses, high-voltage: cables, power distribution systems, electromechanical assemblies, or similar automotive components.
- Proven history of successfully launching multiple automotive programs from sourcing through SOP.
- In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and applicable USCAR standards.
- Strong quality engineering experience; VDA 6.3 auditor certification and/or experience preferred.
