The opportunity
MongoDB is seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst to grow our Strategic Finance team. You will be responsible for the financial and analytical aspects of key business decisions, go-to-market strategies, resource allocation, partnership, and investment decisions.
What you'll do
Own company key revenue forecast models for new and existing products
Help drive the annual planning process; prepare monthly and quarterly board and executive reporting
Support the investor relations function and corporate development initiatives, including any potential M&A
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models to inform teams on: operating strategies, investment recommendations, and new business opportunities
Develop cross-functional partnerships with Leadership across the company to: review investment opportunities, growth levers, and align on resourcing models
Lead, collaborate, and contribute to business case development of new strategic initiatives
What they're looking for
- to 3 years experience in investment banking, management consulting, or an: analytical role at a data-driven technology company
- Superior analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
- Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
- Confidence to forge strong relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization
- Drive for results and a sense of urgency with the capacity to multitask and prioritize
- Highly organized with rigorous attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Candidates must possess substantial experience with financial modeling and proficiency in Excel
