What you'll do
Design and build foundational frontend systems, components, tools, and patterns used by engineers across Braze
Lead large projects end-to-end, including technical design, implementation,: testing, rollout, and operational follow-through
Improve the developer experience of working in a large TypeScript and React: codebase through better abstractions, tooling, documentation, and examples
Build customer-facing product experiences that are polished, accessible,: performant, and consistent with Braze’s product standards
Partner with product engineers, designers, and infrastructure teams to solve cross-cutting frontend problems
Mentor other engineers through code review, pairing, technical guidance, and clear communication
What they're looking for
- Developing the framework used to build our marketing message editors
- Enabling our in-app AI harness to create, modify, and test messages in our Drag-and-Drop message editors
- Migrating the navigation and routing layer to a fully React-based system
- Extending the design system with semantic tokens and supporting a product rebrand
