What you'll do

  • Work with maintenance manager to perform full spectrum analysis on asset: reliability improvement opportunities, such as suggesting improved preventative maintenance actions, identification of design flaws, with a top down approach to maintenance demand driver reduction

  • Lead a team of technicians through daily repairs, preventative maintenance: actions, complex continuous improvement projects, to ensure maximum asset availability for Starbase manufacturing

  • Manage weekly workload distribution and technician task assignments

  • Triage of incoming maintenance requests from internal customers, and: effectively resource manage priority workload with all available resources

  • Work with third-party vendors for parts acquisition, asset documentation: standards, training, and on-site maintenance actions

  • Act as a subject matter expert in equipment maintenance troubleshooting,: mechatronics, project management, team key performance indicator analysis, manufacturing key performance indicator analysis, 5S and LEAN manufacturing strategies, and high-level people leadership in a fast-paced highly iterative environment.

  • Lead a diverse technician team to troubleshoot and repair control and: electrical system failures involving – PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, servo amplifiers, input/output, field sensors
  • Lead a diverse technician team to troubleshoot and repair various machine: hydraulic and pneumatic systems – actuators, valves, pumps, filters
  • Lead a diverse technician team to troubleshoot and repair automated tool: mechanical systems – ballscrews, linear rails, guideways, gearboxes, 3 phase motors
  • Provide developmental leadership to a team of technicians, facilitating: training and advancement of skills, to maintain cutting edge aerospace technologies
