What you'll do
Coordinate and maintain production control team schedules, production: processes, safety, and area standards at Starbase
Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports; write bi-annual reviews, and manage corrective or disciplinary actions
Lead efforts to transition Starship from engineering development to full-rate production
Provide daily visibility on schedule, part shortages, and resource performance
Prepare work schedules and schedule analysis on critical path and variances,: escalation paths, and suggest remediation activities
Provide scheduling expertise to the department, company, and other personnel as required
What they're looking for
- Work closely with internal customers regarding vehicle movement, shipments, and daily schedule targets
- Perform fulfillment activities as needed to support the production floor
- Work directly with engineering, supply chain, and resource Supervisors and: Managers to resolve ongoing part shortages, production rate plans, development and new part introduction, coordinate end of life for products/lines, part kitting processes, and general floor organization events
- Drive down near-term and future schedule risk by conducting work-center level: capacity analysis, identifying model and communication gaps that cause schedule slips, and leading initiatives (reactive and proactive) that mitigate those risks
