What you'll do
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics and mission: systems into air vehicles effectively.
Develop and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for secondary structures and: system components, including large assembly model management.
Conduct simulations and analyses, including hand calculations and FEA (finite: element analysis), to validate designs against performance requirements and regulatory standards.
Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.
Lead design reviews, perform analyses, visit vendors, and define and execute hardware test plans.
Support critical hardware demonstrations for customers as required.
What they're looking for
- Travel to test sites or vendor facilities as needed to support development and integration efforts.
- B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- + years of experience in air vehicle systems integration.
- Familiarity with hypersonic missiles and military standards.
