What you'll do
Own a significant portion of the sensor (mainly radar) verification and: validation activities to support qualification of fully autonomous operations, for both recurring software releases and new hardware prototypes
Design, execute and debug automated tests across multiple platforms to verify: sensing requirements, expose issues, and identify root causes
Work with systems engineers, systems test engineers, software engineers,: hardware engineers and external vendor teams to strategize on, create, standardize and optimize automated testing methodologies supporting periodic onboard software deployment
Write reusable, high quality, sensor data analysis and test automation software (Python and/or C++)
Develop cohesive verification and validation plans, including test plans
Analyze test data and communicate the results in technical reports and presentations
What they're looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, or other technical field OR equivalent practical experience
- An advanced degree OR 8 years of equivalent practical experience
- Experience analyzing data using Python or other high level language (e.g. Matlab, SQL, C++)
- Experience in writing testable and maintainable software running in production level environment
