What you'll do

  • Own a significant portion of the sensor (mainly radar) verification and: validation activities to support qualification of fully autonomous operations, for both recurring software releases and new hardware prototypes

  • Design, execute and debug automated tests across multiple platforms to verify: sensing requirements, expose issues, and identify root causes

  • Work with systems engineers, systems test engineers, software engineers,: hardware engineers and external vendor teams to strategize on, create, standardize and optimize automated testing methodologies supporting periodic onboard software deployment

  • Write reusable, high quality, sensor data analysis and test automation software (Python and/or C++)

  • Develop cohesive verification and validation plans, including test plans

  • Analyze test data and communicate the results in technical reports and presentations

What they're looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, or other technical field OR equivalent practical experience
  • An advanced degree OR 8 years of equivalent practical experience
  • Experience analyzing data using Python or other high level language (e.g. Matlab, SQL, C++)
  • Experience in writing testable and maintainable software running in production level environment
