Establish and run the engineering operating cadence: stand up and facilitate monthly operating reviews, planning cycles, and cross-functional decision forums; maintain visibility into what's coming and what needs coordination.
What they're looking for
- Design and manage the intake process for engineering initiatives: define what gets started, ensure every initiative has a clear goal, success metric, responsible team, and strategy alignment, and close the loop on outcomes.
- Drive standardization and reduce duplication across engineering teams: define shared templates, standards, and operating norms; track commitments across teams and follow through to completion.
- Partner on strengthening incident and operational excellence: support the maturation of incident management practices, postmortem discipline, and cross-team follow-through on action items.
- Steward engineering organization health and engagement: own the end-to-end cycle for engagement and pulse surveys, drive the cadence to close loops on feedback, and support the operational side of calibration and performance review cycles.
