What you'll do

  • Training Needs Analysis & Program Support: Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps and utilize TWI (Training Within Industry) Job Instruction methods to standardize and deliver training. You will support structured learning paths for various manufacturing roles, from new hires to experienced employees, aimed at upskilling the workforce and supporting internal mobility. You will continuously improve training to meet the needs of an evolving workforce and align with industrial trends.

  • Hands-on Technical Training: Directly train employees on core manufacturing processes, with a primary focus on electrical and wiring proficiency, including control panel assembly, LV wiring, and termination. You will also instruct on sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, and switchgear integration, teaching essential skills to ensure consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.

  • Content & Systems Management: Deliver engaging training materials, such as video tutorials, written manuals, and hands-on exercises, and update them regularly to reflect new technologies and production techniques. You will maintain accurate training records, certifications, and completion data.

  • Evaluation & Certification: Utilize a system for assessing employee skills and knowledge through practical tests and certifications. This system will provide tangible recognition for their accomplishments, supporting internal mobility and career progression.

  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with department managers to support department leads and deliver training aligned with existing factory initiatives. You will use data and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs and collaborate with Corporate Learning & Development to integrate new tools and company-wide initiatives.

  • Retention Support: Act as a champion for employee development by providing clear opportunities for growth and recognition, directly contributing to a more engaged workforce and helping to reduce turnover.

What they're looking for

  • Employee Onboarding: Create a positive new employee culture for all manufacturing employees by partnering with corporate teams to ensure new hires have the necessary tools and systems to be effective on their first day. You will serve as the representative to corporate teams to ensure company-wide approaches are representative of the manufacturing workforce.
  • Extensive Manufacturing Experience: At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience with fabrication, electrical assembly, or a related field is essential.
  • Instructional & Training Proficiency: Proven expertise in delivering effective technical training. You have a strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, hands-on learning experiences, particularly in electrical and wiring, while conducting training needs analysis to identify skill gaps.
  • Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of manufacturing processes, including the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
