The opportunity
SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
What you'll do
Train and certify SpaceX technicians in high-risk and equipment-use: competencies, including confined space entry, hazardous materials (HAZMAT) general awareness, energy isolation/lockout-tagout (LOTO), respiratory protection, crane operation and rigging, forklift, aerial platforms, work at height, hot work, excavation, scaffolding, and other site-required safety training. Enforce training gates: no verified competency, no high-risk task.
Deliver instructor-led and online training for SpaceX personnel, and for: contractors, vendors, and visitors as required.
Partner with environmental health and safety so all training meets: Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and SpaceX safety requirements and stays current with procedure and document changes.
Coordinate training equipment and third-party vendors, including rentals, so: gear used for instruction is safe, available, and meets regulatory requirements. Hold vendor performance to standard.
Create, maintain, and continuously improve course materials, including: presentations, hands-on aids, student handouts, and assessments, for live and online programs.
