What you'll do
Perform CFD simulations on HVAC and thermal system components and subsystems.
Develop and maintain system models to solve mechanical, electrical, and thermal problems in electric vehicles.
Build tools to support the pre-processing of simulation parameters and the: post-processing of simulation results.
Analyze the effect of changing parameters on the behavior of single components and complete systems.
Collaborate with multiple engineering departments to understand physics,: create models, and collect parameters for system level modeling.
Couple the effects of different systems in an EV, including motor, gearbox,: inverter, battery, charger, chassis, cooling, HVAC, and controls.
What they're looking for
- Collaborate with vehicle testing teams to instrument vehicles and carry on: tests to correlate and validate models.
- Experience with commercial CFD software.
- Passion for problem-solving, and curiosity to learn
- Expertise in modeling and simulation.
