What you'll do

  • Perform CFD simulations on HVAC and thermal system components and subsystems.

  • Develop and maintain system models to solve mechanical, electrical, and thermal problems in electric vehicles.

  • Build tools to support the pre-processing of simulation parameters and the: post-processing of simulation results.

  • Analyze the effect of changing parameters on the behavior of single components and complete systems.

  • Collaborate with multiple engineering departments to understand physics,: create models, and collect parameters for system level modeling.

  • Couple the effects of different systems in an EV, including motor, gearbox,: inverter, battery, charger, chassis, cooling, HVAC, and controls.

What they're looking for

  • Collaborate with vehicle testing teams to instrument vehicles and carry on: tests to correlate and validate models.
  • Experience with commercial CFD software.
  • Passion for problem-solving, and curiosity to learn
  • Expertise in modeling and simulation.
