What you'll do
Responsible for preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
Use mechanical hand tools and torque wrenches to set up parts on test fixtures.
Support development tests setup and test lab organization efforts.
Self-monitor work progress against fast-paced area benchmarks and achieve on time delivery of all work.
Program and operate environmental test chambers and/or vibration shakers.
Use basic and advanced electronic test equipment and Test Racks/DAQs to run performance tests on parts.
What they're looking for
- Assist design engineers with developing and documenting test procedures.
- Interpret a variety of sources ranging from controlled, released documentation to informal sketches.
- Identify design gaps; ask directed questions, and apply skill and experience: to resolve them, and update documentation to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain clean, stocked, and orderly work area.
